Thrilling rapids renowned throughout Japan
The Tone River is one of Japan's top whitewater rafting destinations and is well known by rafting enthusiasts worldwide.
Choose a half-day or full-day course to cover about 12 kilometers or 25 kilometers, respectively. These thrilling rapids are between levels three and four during spring, but experience is not necessary as skilled guides will accompany you. Alternatively, come during summer for more mellow rapids that allow for a more leisurely pace to take in the natural beauty of Minakami.
