A roadside station with a day spa that lets you enjoy the star-filled sky
The Nakayama Bonchi Roadside Station in the village of Takayama offers many ways to enjoy the scenic beauty of each season, from viewing its magnificent Minamiyama Tri Peaks and rural landscapes to relaxing in its open-air bath in the adjoining onsen at night while gazing at the stars. The area also has many specialty products and processed goods like the local rice brand Tsukiakane and soba inari (soba noodles stuffed into a fried tofu pocket).
