前橋花火大会

Last updated: June 07, 2021

One of the region’s most spectacular summer displays

Maebashi’s summer fireworks display is thought of as one of the best in the region. Around 15,000 fireworks are launched to lively music from the Owatari Bridge on Tone River throughout the two-hour event.

Expect to see innovative displays, including the “Kuchu Niagara,” a type of fireworks resembling a sparkling waterfall that locals claim originated in Maebashi.
