Paddle through hundreds of lotus flowers
Take a lotus flower cruise across Jonuma Pond in Tsutsujigaoka Park between July 10 and August 15, when around 200 varieties of lotus bloom across the surface. Throughout the festival, these cruises let you see the flowers up close.
Another way to appreciate these plants is by picnicking in the park with a bento box featuring lotus root.
