An idyllic autumnal scene
Walk the 500-meter trail around Takatsudokyo Gorge in autumn. The route passes some unusual rock formations and takes you over the Hanetaki Bridge, a geometrically-designed pedestrian bridge.
From its walkway, enjoy views of the colorful fall foliage within the gorge and the Watarase River below. If you're lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the retro trolley trains of the Watarase Keikoku Railway as they pass by.
