Enjoy the beauty of the azalea bunches that spread out under the lines of pine trees

The roughly 3.2-kilometer road that connects Akagi-jinja Shrine in the Miyosawa area features around 1,000 Japanese red and black pines that range from 80 to 400 years old. Around 4,000 wild azaleas grow at the base of these trees. Azaleas taller than a person are in full bloom from late April through mid-May, providing beautiful scenery to walk through.
