Interactive displays about local fabric production
Textile Museum Yukari is located in Kiryu, a historically important textile-producing area. The museum showcases weaving tools and machines ranging from ancient to modern alongside exhibits explaining the production of silk yarn. Many of the displays are interactive, and staff can demonstrate how the devices are used. While there, try your hand at fabric dyeing and hand-weaving in beginner-friendly classes.
Textile Museum Yukari is housed in an old factory building with a saw-tooth-shaped roof characteristic of the area.
