Walk among fields of fragrant flowers
In the summer months, Tambara’s gentle ski slopes transform into a blanket of flowers. There are 50,000 lavender plants and various species—early-blooming, mid-season, and late-blooming—which ensure a long flower season that lasts from early-July to late-August.
The park has over 100 kinds of flowers, including some smaller gardens of sunflowers, hydrangeas, daylilies, and bergamot, making for plenty of photo opportunities. The park’s ski lift, the Woody Line Summer Lift, provides birds-eye views over the flower fields.
