A roadside station with a popular restaurant that serves local ingredients
This station is located next to the Katashina Village Hall. The facility features a restaurant and a foot bath, as well as a farmers’ market that sells highland vegetables. Some recommended dishes at the restaurant are the tempura made from local vegetables and the udon noodles made with spring water from the area. Don’t forget to try the soft-serve ice cream made from the big hanamame beans that only grow in high altitudes.
