Over 6,000 traditional dolls from around Japan
Hina dolls are a traditional doll used in ritual, altar-style displays in the namesake Hina Festival (celebrated in March).
Each February, Oigami Onsen holds a hina doll display to show off over 6,000 of the dolls from around Gunma and all of Japan. The event's centerpiece is the super-sized, tiered display of typical hina dolls that stretches 18 meters wide and 3.8 meters tall.
