A charming onsen ryokan in the heart of Minakami
Tenku-no-Yu Nakaya Ryokan is a riverside inn that provides an exceptional, family-friendly experience. On arrival, change into the yukata robes you are provided with and enjoy the facilities and amenities of this delightful inn.
Book some family time in one of the property’s two open-air onsen, one wooden and one stone. These each have what is purported to be the world’s first baby-only open-air onsen. A shallow area is sectioned off in its private onsen, allowing your baby to bathe beside you and enjoy their first onsen experience. Bath toys are available to keep the kids entertained. More than 40,000 families have enjoyed this adorable feature.
Refuel with fresh seasonal food and child-friendly cuisine for the little ones. When you’re ready to retire for the evening, relax in classic or modern Japanese-style rooms, some of which provide a half open-air bath to unwind in. Western-style beds are also available in some rooms.
Tenku-no-Yu Nakaya Ryokan is a 20-minute drive from Jomo-Kogen Station on the JR Joetsu Shinkansen.
