Hike and camp among an abundance of alpine plants
Lake Nozori is located at an altitude of 1,513 meters in Joshin’etsukogen National Park. This dam-formed artificial lake is surrounded by towering mountains of over 2,000 meters, making it a photogenic location for hiking and camping.
The lake's surroundings bloom with a variety of flowers throughout summer and autumn. More than 300 alpine species thrive here, including daylilies, azaleas, and fireweed.
