A luxury ryokan with a rural twist
Kawaba Onsen Yutorian is a ryokan inn that mimics traditional Japanese farmhouses. The collection of thatched-roof buildings house spacious, beautifully appointed rooms with tatami mat floors. Other quintessentially Japanese touches include the in-room irori hearths and seasonal, multi-course meals.
Each room has a small private bath, while the shared onsen facilities include open-air baths next to picturesque gardens. The communal baths are open to both staying and non-staying guests.
