Skiers-only resort perfect for kids and beginners
Katashina Kogen Ski Area is the only skier-exclusive snow resort in Gunma and the surrounding Kanto region. This restriction, accompanied by the mellow slopes, makes the resort a great choice for beginners and families with small children. Its Katashina location means soft snow, which is forgiving for those learning to ski. The intermediate and slalom trail let you test your skills when you graduate from the novice courses.
Other activities and amenities geared toward children include snow striders, sledding, and a Miffy-themed kids' area.
