A hydrangea field surrounded by mountains and rice fields
Roughly twenty thousand hydrangeas planted in a nearly three-hectare area will beautifully bloom around mid-June at the Shimonita Hydrangea Garden, which is located just off the Joshin-Etsu Expressway Shimonita IC. The garden being one of the largest in the Kanto area, visitors here can enjoy hydrangeas in a variety of colors including blue, white, bluish purple, and reddish purple.
