See Oze's seasonal highlights

Oze is a national park that includes parts of northeastern Gunma. It is known for its marshland, Ozegahara, and its pond, Ozenuma.

In spring, summer, and autumn, the area is a popular hiking spot, with elevated boardwalks on the marsh and around the pond. Hiking between its two main trailheads, Hatomachitoge and Oshimizu, takes around six to eight hours.

The area was formed during an ice age around 10,000 years ago, and still flourishes with plants that evolved from that era.
