Observe insects in an outdoor museum environment
Come into contact with local insect life at Gunma Insect World's hands-on outdoor area. Its 450,000-square-meter site recreates rice paddies, swamps, and fields where you can search for, learn about, and observe insects such as butterflies, dragonflies, rhinoceros beetles, and stag beetles.
Discover more insects inside its sleek glass building, designed by top Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
