With a history of over 440 years and a convenient location at the top of Ikaho Onsen's iconic stone steps, Fukuichi has been a favorite retreat for generations of visitors. Choose from traditional Japanese rooms or a combination of modern Japanese and western design, with private gardens or area views. Certain rooms have their own private open-air bath. Fukuichi comprises of two main buildings - Manyokan and Senjukan, which each offer different rooms types and services. Senjukan also contains an annex called Kotohogi, which features exclusively western-style rooms. Large indoor and outdoor baths with waters drawn from both the kogane no yu and shirogane no yu hot springs. Day visitors can also use the public bath for a fee. Guests can enjoy treatments at the spa at sister hotel Kaichoro. Dinners are prepared specially with local ingredients.
