Thousands of blooming azaleas

The Azalea Festival takes place throughout the azalea blossoming season, roughly mid-April to mid-May. During this time, Tsutsujigaoka Park holds various special events. Visitors can ride small boats on the pond, granting striking views of the flowers from the water.

Tsutsujigaoka Park in Tatebayashi is home to over 10,000 azaleas of over 100 varieties spread over 110,000 square meters.
