Hiking through golden grasses and autumn foliage
The mountains and forests of Oze National Park turn shades of red and gold in October, signaling the peak of hiking and camping season. The wetland grasses on Ozegahara Plateau turn gold, creating a beautiful contrast with the ponds' deep blue. You can traverse the area on wooden boardwalks.
Head towards Lake Ozenuma for the photogenic combination of golden grasses, the blue lake, and the deep green of Mt. Hiuchi in the distance.
