Autumn foliage brightens the jagged slopes of Mt. Myogi
A riot of colored autumn foliage amplifies the drama of the rugged rock formations and jutting spires of Mt. Myogi (1,104 m).
The climb is challenging, but hikers are rewarded with some of the region's best autumn views.
Mt. Myogi is one of Gunma's "three famous mountains," considered exceptional for their majesty. It is joined in the designation by Mt. Akagi and Mt. Haruna.
