The largest waterfall around Kita-Karuizawa
The waterfall sends a massive amount of water cascading down about 10 meters. The surrounding area is covered in trees, while the mightily flowing waterfall creates a cool mist. A 10-minute walk from the parking lot along the clear water brings you to the waterfall, where you can approach quite close.
Uodome-no-taki is just downstream from Asama Otaki. Separated into three levels, the waterfall sends a clear stream sliding down the black rocks. It’s just 5 minutes’ walk from the parking lot.
Both waterfalls provide a beautiful contrast to the vivid summer greens or colorful autumnal leaves.
